Creating Safer Homes. Strengthening Our Community.
Safe Home Initiative
In partnership with Men’s Second Chance Living, the Safe Homes Initiative brings our community together to take simple, meaningful steps toward safer homes. Actions like clearing unused medications and practicing safe storage can reduce risk, prevent harm, and support recovery across our community.
What is the Safe Homes Initiative?
The Safe Homes Initiative is a community-driven effort focused on reducing risk factors while strengthening protective ones. Through education, outreach, and accessible resources, we empower individuals and families to take simple, meaningful steps toward safer homes.

Taking simple, proactive steps at home helps reduce risks before they become serious problems.
Safety
Creating a safe environment through proper storage and awareness protects individuals and families every day.
Recovery
Supporting recovery means providing resources, stability, and opportunities for individuals to rebuild their lives.
Community Connection
Strong communities are built through shared responsibility, support, and looking out for one another.
Lethal Means Safety
Limiting access to potentially harmful items during critical moments can save lives and reduce the risk of crisis.
